About the event
SilverBack Trails Lamplighter 30 tail running night event
Starting and finishing at Goathland Village Hall you will visit 4 Triangulation Pillars, North, East, South and West, before heading back to the Village Hall.
The event start and finish times will be dictated by the setting and rising of the sun on 15/16 June. So it will be a true run through the night, dusk till dawn …
Entrants will register and collect numbers etc an hour before last light , then the event will begin when the Lamplighter appears, it will be up to you to be ready to go…
You will then have until the sun comes up above the horizon and the Lamplighter returns to get back to the village hall, but don’t despair you will still get a finishers memento if you beat the flag. As soon as the Lamplighter has snuffed out the lamp a flag…
