Oswiu's Revenge MMXXVI

Oswiu's Revenge will be a trail running event circa 13.2 miles around the Black Hambleton and Silton Woods area south of Osmotherley.

The route will take you along forest tracks and ancient trods with views of the North Yorkshire Moors and the Vale of York...

Legend has it that Oswiu or Oswy son of King Oswald drowned near Roseberry Topping, his grief-stricken mother died soon after some miles to the south in a place that came to be known as;

'Os-by-his-mother-lay'

As with all the Revenge series races there will be a "sting in the trail" allowing Oswiu to exact his revenge on unwary runners...

Each finisher will receive a bespoke medal specially commissioned to celebrate their achievement.
