SilverBackTrails will be holding a Basic Map reading session which is ideal for anyone who has little or no navigational experience or someone who wants to brush up on forgotten skills. There will be a session towards the end of the day where participants will be able to utilise their new skills in the field.
There will also be some input into recognising features on the ground using contour lines and harnessing your technology to assist with your navigation.
All equipment needed for the session will be provided, however, participants should bring suitable clothing for the outside portion of the day.
