Wednesday Wander trail running group.

On Wednesday evenings throughout the year, SilverBackTrails meet and do an off-road run of between 5 and 7 miles. We meet at various locations across the North Yorkshire Moors at 6:45 to start trotting at 7 pm. The group is very laid back and open to all abilities, you will not be left abandoned like Heathcliff on a wind and rain-lashed Moorside. We regroup often and look at stuff. All you need is a dead torch, waterproof jacket, hat, gloves some fluid and a bit of food.

Once finished we normally retire to a local pub for refreshments and tall tales of our trail-running adventures.

Welcome to the Wednesday Wander Group Page...

Next Wednesday we will be meeting at Gribdale Gate car park just below Captain Cooks Monument. Muster at 6:45 for a 7 pm start, please bring headtorch, waterproof top, hat, gloves, fluid and food.

Once we have had a little trot, around six miles, and bagged some hills we will then revive ourselves by rejoining to the Royal Oak at Great Ayton.
