There was an eclectic mix of running being done by members of the SilverBack Trails Strava club last week from FKT attempts, (fastest known time) to 100 milers and marathons, not to mention the odd park run and fell race thrown in for good measure. Top trotting everyone. 💪🦍

Well done to our chart-toppers, with the three of them taking a clean sweep in this week's categories.

Other events taking place were the Hardmoors Farndale marathon, half marathon and 10 k which a lot of you took part in.
Great to see so many of you running up that last hill on Lowna Road. Sorry if I was a little incoherent but I had spent the night running the last 40 miles of the Cleveland Way with Lee Kemp,
Some of those running the full were Nicola Lees, Neil Enskat, Tracey Maskew, Abbie Morgan, Dave Robson, Sarah Short, Anna Jebson, Sean Higgins, Donna Roe, Lee Shephard, Penny Outhwaite, Nik Stevenson, Karen Saward, Graham Pepper, Jordan Millward, Paul Readman, Ian Luker, Katie Hunter and Johnny Milner.
In the half marathon;
Clare Agar, Emma Foxley, Joanne Abbot, Patricia Hunter, Keith Hunter, Linda Cromwell and Kev Gay.
In the 10k;
Kevin, Felix and Kayliegh Hullah, Laura Smith, Shelly Stevenson, Joe Dobbs and Allan McGarrity.
Further afield Ed Barker-Wyatt and Johnny Gill had a trot around the York 10k and Lena Conlin, The painted runner, took part in the Darlington 10k.
Top trotting everyone 💪💪🦍
There are bound to be lots of events, training runs etc that I have missed, so please feel free to post any that you have done on our FB or Strava page along with pictures of anything remotely trail running related or of interest you may have encountered whilst out trotting...
Next up for us is the Recce for Othnesberry's Revenge this coming Sunday, with the event itself taking place on the 20th. At present, there are 9 entries left available.
Also next weekend I will be down in Hampshire marshalling at the Alfreds Way Ultra which is a joint venture between Beyond Marathon & Cockbain Events, the longer route on offer being 350 k!
So until next week trot on and don't shy away from the hills...
